Many players make the mistake of not upgrading there Hero's. You have put runes on yourself and have a great weapon or two on you and you are now a killing machine lol. But what about your Hero's do they have any runes or great weapons? Most of the time its about money that this has not been done or you have spent it on yourself. As you well know you are only as good as the players around you and your hero's are around alot lol. Here are some tips to Help you with this.

I have a Rule of thumb I follow but there is no right way or wrong way to do this as everyone has there own playing style. All my hero's have at least 500 health. I do not go overboard with engery over health. As a dead hero is not much good to you. I always put +50 health runes on them and yes this does add you as far as money spent but it pays back many times over. I also put +3 Attibutes on there Helm as you will get a +1 from there. So all my Hero's have +16 Attibutes. This is the order i would work on first as this will take time and money to make happen.

(1) Monk
You always take a monk with you unless you are a monk. Now i would go with +16 healing as a prot hero monk does not always do the correct skill set on the correct person. A +50 health rune is a must with your hero monk. I would also go with a Scar eater as this green weapon is not that high priced at 3k. Make sure you use either +10 health runes or +2 engery runes on the rest of you clothes. Myself i go with health but this is a personal choice.

(2) Tank
Again most of the time you will take a Tank hero with you. I would again make it +16 something on the helm. A +50 health runes again is a must. Now tanks are a much harder choice as far as what to do. Do you go +16 Sword, Hammer or Axe or do you go Tatics or Strength. This is your choice how you want to do that. If you want a killing machine then go with the weapons. If you want a arrgo machine then go with Tatic or strength. I would put a +15 health rune on chest and 10 on the rest as health is much more inportant then engery.

(3) Necro
I would go with 16 death on this Hero as you will get 10 minions out of it. Again +50 health runes is a must here. If you can purchase or farm a Woespreader that would be a very very big help here with the +60 health that comes with it. I have both +2 engery and +10 health runes on this hero.

(4) Ele
Most players i know use fire with there Ele so i would get +16 fire and go from there. Again a +50 health rune is a must. Now do you go for health or engery with runes again that is your call. Mine are in the 80s and have over 500 health and that does seem to work for me but like i said it is your call.

If you do these 4 that is all you will need for the most part. I have done most of mine but i must say these are the 4 i use most. I am not a great player as many of you would beat me 1 vs 1 but I am better because of how my hero's have been take care of. So please if you want less wipes and faster kill this is a good way to do it. I can do most of the mission in Prop and Factions just with my Heros and Henchies because of this.

Thanks Scott

Controling your Hero's

As you well know your Hero's like to hang together and are very social with each other lol. Well that is fine till a Ele nails them with Metor shower lol. This is some ideas that i use to stop this from happening.

(1) Placement of hero's

Before i go into battle with a mob I scan the mob with my mouse and see what is there. I am sure most of you do this all ready lol. If there is alot of Aoe in the mob such as Hydras and space my heros out. Tanks amd Dev up front, MM, Pargon, Sin and Rangers midline and Monks, Mez, Rits and Eles backline. This way they are spread out and do not go down all a one time. Also set you Monks up to avoid contact as they do not go in a attack as I need them to heal not fight. Set up the rest in a Guard mode as i also do not what them running off and arggo everything in sight. I am sure most of you do this anyway but you never know lol.

(2) Controling Hero's

I always have my Hero's skill tabs up so i can take control when needed. Now I think most players do not do this and this can make a big diff in controling the fight. When i need a heal on a hero or myself i can have my hero do that myself. I need my ele to fire off Metor shower at the start rather then when he cycle to it. How may of you have seen your Hero ele fire off say Fire storm when there is only one left to kill see the point here lol.

(3) Just a little info

(A) When you see a wipe starting to happen grab all your hero's and flag them to a far location. I have found this is the best way to get them out fast rather then you running and them following you.

(B) Your Hero's can pull very good if you use them right. Flag you hero in the arrgo bubble and then flag them back to you.

(C) Inturpts are great with hero's with having the skill set up.

Thanks Scott

Thanks Scott Smile
Great info.. You are right most heroes go unchanged from their initial set up.
I've added insignias and minor runes to mine as they came available from farming.
So doing it does not have to cost a fortune to get a half decent set up.
